Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents No.3 and 4 to conduct enquiry for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the

private respondents for the lands in S.No.78/2B, 113/1, 41/19, 110/2, 120/2C, 110/4A and 10/6A at Valaseripatti, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 19.04.2025. For Petitioner :

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents No.3 and 4 to conduct an enquiry for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the private respondents in respect of the lands situated in Survey Nos.78/2B, 113/1, 41/19, 110/2, 120/2C, 110/4A and 10/6A at Valaseripatti, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering her representation, dated 19.04.2025.

2. Heard Mr.K.Dinesh, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, for respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against respondents 5 and 6, notice to them is dispensed with. With the consent of both the counsel, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property belongs to her joint family and the private respondents obtained patta in their

favour, by submitting bogus documents. Hence, she submitted a representation to the official respondents on 19.04.2025, seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the private respondents. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, she has come before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered on its own merits within a time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.04.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the private respondents 5 and 6.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 13.06.2025 NCC :
