[Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA,J.] This writ petition is directed against the notice issued by the fourth respondent / the Special Officer, Maraikkayarpattinam Panchayat, Ramanathapuram District, dated 16.04.2018, calling upon the petitioner to explain why action should not be taken against the petitioner for the building put up by her without seeking approval from the competent authority.

2. By consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in response to the impugned notice, a detailed reply was given on 06.08.2018.

4. The impugned notice has been issued informing the petitioner that she has put up unapproved construction and therefore, she has to give an explanation as to why action should not be taken against her. In response to the impugned notice, dated 16.04.2018, a detailed reply was given on 06.08.2018. It is not known how the petitioner can give belated reply on 06.08.2018. Therefore, we do not find any merit in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
