Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to restart the desalination sea water project of Naripiyur Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, the petitioner made a representation on 13.02.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Muniasamy For Respondent No.1 : Mr.D.Muruganantham, Additional Government Pleader.

For Respondent No.2 : Mr.R.Murugappan, Senior Panel Counsel for Central Government.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to restart Desalination Sea Water Project of Naripiyur Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

has taken notice for the first respondent and Mr.R.Murugappan, Senior Panel Counsel for Central Government, has taken notice for the second respondent. Considering the nature of the relief sought in the writ petition, notice need not be sent to the third respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 13.02.2017 a representation has been given by the petitioner, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to look into the representation dated 13.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of one month.
