This writ petition is filed to direct the first and second respondents to grant ordinary leave or emergency leave without escort to the petitioner's son viz., Madhavan Mahesh, S/o.Gopal, C.P.No.6256, who is languishing in the Madurai Central Prison, by considering the representation dated 22.05.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.05.2025 has been considered and the same has been rejected by the Deputy Inspector General of Prison(Range), Madurai, vide order dated 30.05.2025.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
