Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to cancel the resolution passed by the second respondent in Resolution No.241/2014 dated 14.03.2015 as per Section 202 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, 1994 by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 02.06.2015 within stipulated time.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the first respondent to cancel the resolution passed by the second respondent in Resolution No.241/2014 dated 14.03.2015 on the basis of the representation, dated 02.06.2015, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.It is seen from the records that the second respondent has passed the impugned resolution on 14.03.2015. Further it is seen from the records that on 02.06.2015, a representation has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been given by the petitioner and the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

3.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the first respondent/the District Collector, Dindigul District is directed to look into the representation dated 02.06.2015 alleged to have been given by the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of one month.
