[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant 21 days ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's husband namely, Basheer Ahamed Khan S/o.Abdu Raheem Khan convict prisoner (CP No.6080) now confined at Central Prison, Madurai to attend petitioner's medical ailments by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2025. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2025 is under consideration and it will be considered and suitable orders will be passed at the earliest.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, without going into the merits of the matter, we direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.05.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
