PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second Respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.2.2016 and grant patta in favour of the petitioner to an extent of 3.52 1⁄2 Acres of land comprised in Survey No.120/1 in Patta No.2190 situated at Managiri Sukkanenthal Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent for grant of patta in his name in respect of the property referred to in the Writ Petition. To that effect, he has already made a representation on 13.02.2016, which, according to the petitioner, has not been considered so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, I only direct the second respondent to consider the above

representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also after hearing the rival claimants if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
