Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2015 and to change the house tax assessment of the house No.13/157 of Arumanai Town Panchayat from the petitioner father's name into the petitioner's name within a time stipulated by this Court. Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

2.The petitioner seeks for a mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider his representation dated 15.12.2015 and to change the house tax assessment of the house No.13/157 from the name of the petitioner's father's name into the name of the petitioner.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject matter of the property was settled in his favour by his father by way of settlement deed dated 04.05.2006 registered as document No.940 of 2006. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for effecting change in the house tax assessment. For such purpose the petitioner made the said representation on 15.12.2015.

4.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that there are some objections raised by some third party against such change and therefore, the petitioner's representation would be considered and orders would be passed after hearing all the parties concerned.

5.Accordingly, this Writ petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner as well as the third parties if any, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
