For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.93 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section294 (b), 387, 506(ii) and 511 I.P.C and Section 4 of Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.93 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the de-facto complainant is that the petitioner scolded the defacto complainant and also threatened her with knife.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against him.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is having seven previous cases.

5. Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is having seven previous cases and that the petitioner had extracted money from the defacto complainant, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Hence, this Petition is dismissed.
