The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to provide police protection to the petitioners based on their complaint and to take appropriate action against the respondents 6 to 8. 2/6
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners belong to different religions and have solemnized their marriage. He further submitted that they apprehend danger to their life and liberty from the family members of the girl. The petitioners have produced copies of their Aadhaar Cards and photographs before this Court. Therefore, the petitioners are seeking police protection.
3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the petitioner's representation and provide police protection for a period of one week. If Respondents 1 to 5 decide to grant such police protection, the cost thereof shall be borne by the petitioners. 3/6
