PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 & 3 to issue a separate patta to the petitioners in respect of the properties comprised in S.F.No: 5/4B1-A to an extent of 22 cents on the Eastern portion and to an extent of 50 cents on the east(cultivated) and to an extent of 72 cents in 5/4B1-A and to an extent of 25 cents in S.F.No:5/4B1-B ie., total extent of 97 cents for the first petitioner and to an extent of extent of 22 cents on the west and 36 cents on the west (cultivated) in S.F.5/4B1-A ie., total cents of 58 cents, Natham village, Senbagapuram post, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District for second petitioner after making sub-division, if any, through the 4th respondent by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 11.02.2017.

Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioners seek for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 for issuance of separate patta in their favour in respect of the property referred to in the Writ Petition. To that effect, they have already made a representation on 11.02.2017, which, according to the petitioner, has not been considered so far.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, I only direct the second respondent to consider the above representation of the petitioners and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also after hearing the rival claimants if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
