The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the third respondent to register the document, dated 15.06.2015, submitted by the petitioner on 16.06.2015 for registration and to release the same within the time stipulated.

2. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous as the document, dated 15.06.2015, submitted by the petitioner has already been registered by the third respondent on 30.08.2016 itself.
