Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to allot the shop No.10, situated in T.M.Building, Tirunelveli Junction to the petitioner for rental, after collecting the arrears of rent Rs.2,20,000/- for the above shop from the petitioner, which the petitioner is ready to pay and after fixing the deposit and rental amount for the said shop, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 25.07.2018.

ORDER

The writ petitioner seeks allotment of shop No.10, situated in T.M.Building, Tirunelveli Junction on rental basis. In this regard, the writ petitioner has given a representation dated 25.07.2018 to the first respondent.

2.Heard Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Standing Counsel for Tirunelveli Corporation.

3.Without going into merits of the matter, the first respondent/Corporation is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 25.07.2018 and pass order within a period of eight weeks in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
