Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to survey the petitioner's land in Survey Nos.154/1B, 154/6B, 155/7 and 157/2A situated in Avoor, Malvarpatti, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul, on the basis of the petitioner's online application No. 2025/0123/13/012169, dated 13.05.2025 along with police protection provided by the fifth respondent within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey his lands situated in Survey Nos.154/1B, 154/6B, 155/7 and 157/2A, Avoor, Malvarpatti, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul, by considering his online Application No. 2025/0123/13/012169, dated 13.05.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Gandhirajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the fifth respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner claims right over the above mentioned property under a Settlement Deed dated 15.03.2021. The patta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner's father, who settled the property in favour of the petitioner in Patta No.257. The petitioner submitted an online application on 13.05.2025 in Application No. 2025/0123/13/012169, seeking survey of the property. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 13.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
