ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2026 and permit the petitioner's community people to conduct the Pongal festival and the orchestra from 23.05.2026 to 28.05.2026 at their village temples situated at Chokkalingapuram Village, Satthur Talk, Virudhunagar District.

2. There are already several litigations between the two rival groups. In the earlier round of litigation, this Court, in W.P.(MD)Nos.25631 and 26234 of 2023 (P. Vellaiyappan vs. The District Collector, Virudhunagar District, Virudhunagar and others), dated 01.11.2023, considered the rival claims and directed the parties to conduct their temple festivals separately.

3. Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation in the light of the order passed in W.P.(MD)Nos.25631 and 26234 of 2023, dated 01.11.2023.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
