PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to grant necessary permission to conduct the Sappara Pavani Thiruvizha on any day in our temple premises i.e. Punitha Anthoniar Alayam Situated at No.3/389, Anthoniar Kovil Street, Kumaresapuram, Trichy - 13 on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 18.06.2019.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2019 and grant permission to conduct the Sappara Pavani Thiruvizha to their temple Punitha Anthoniar Alayam situated at No.3/389, Anthoniar Kovil Street, Kumaresapuram, Trichy - 13.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2019, has been rejected after conducting enquiry between the petitioner and the 6th respondent. Further, he submitted that from the year 1999 onwards, the respondents 1 to 4 rejected the festival.
3. The learned counsel for the 6th respondent submitted that the petitioner suppressing to so many things, simply filed this writ petition seeking permission to conduct the festival for Punitha Anthoniar Alayam. Both groups were attended peace committee conducted by the Chruch of St.Joseph the Worker, Kailasapuram, Thuvakudi Malai, Tiruchirapalli, South India before the parties.
4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer sought for in the writ petition now has become infructuous, since on their representation dated 18.06.2019, the 4th respondent conducted enquiry and rejected their representation.
5. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order in the manner known to law.
