ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to issue the patta to the petitioner with regard to lands in Thirunageshwaram village Old Survey No.59/12 and New No.196/4 to an extent of 0.30.5 Ares based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2016. 2.Heard Mr.G.Gomathi Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

4.The petitioner, in order to get patta in respect of his land in Old Survey No.59/12 and New No.196/4 to an extent of 0.30.5 Ares situate in Thirunageshwaram village, has made a request on 11.08.2016 and the same is pending with the respondents. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is decided by the respondents, especially, the 3rd respondent, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said request of the petitioner dated 11.08.2016 would be decided within a time frame. 6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein in this writ petition, the following directions are issued: "The respondents, especially, the 3rd respondent shall decide the said representation given by the petitioner dated 11.08.2016, if the same is produced along with the copy of this order, since the same has been addressed only to the 2nd respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order ."

7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
