: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide drinking water, and open the toilet and repair the play materials and exercise machines in Amma Park, Ramanathapuram and direct the Respondents to properly maintain the Chidambaram Oorani Park, which is situating near Pillayarkovil Bus Stop, Ramanathapuram with infrastructure and within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondents to provide drinking water and open the toilet and repair the play materials and exercise machines in Amma Park, Ramathapuram District and to maintain the Chidambaram Oorani Park situated near Pillayarkovil Bus Stop, Ramanathapuram. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner on instructions would submit that the respondents are now maintaining the Chidambaram Oorrani Park and as such, orders are not necessary with respect to the prayer regarding maintenance of the Chidambaram Oorani Park.

3.The toilet located at Amma Park, Ramanathapuram District, is maintained by the third respondent. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the third respondent has not provided water, so as to enable the public to use the toilet.

4.We direct the third respondent to maintain the toilet at Amma park in good condition. The third respondent shall make available the required water taking into account the supply of water in that area. Similarly, he should maintain the Amma park in good condition taking into account the purpose for which the park was opened.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
