PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, directing the respondent to call for the records pertaining to the Impugned Order dated 22.05.2021 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to directing the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in the respondent bank.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a Cashier of the respondent Co-operative Bank challenging an order of dismissal dated 22.05.2021.
2. A perusal of the by-laws of the Society clearly reveals that as against the order of the respondent, an appeal would lie before the Registrar of the Co-operative Society. In such circumstances, when there is an effective alternative statutory remedy, the present writ petition is not maintainable.
3. This writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent appellate authority. In case if any appeal/revision is preferred on or before 15.02.2026, the same shall be entertained without any reference to the period of limitation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
