Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of writ of mandamus, to direct the second respondent to pass final order on petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2017 and to appoint the petitioner hereditary trustee of the Arulmighu Sengamala Natchiyamman Temple situated at Rajappa Nagar, Thanjavur.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a mandamus to the second respondent to pass final order on her representation dated 25.01.2017 seeking appointment as hereditary trustee of the of the Arulmighu Sengamala Natchiyamman Temple situated at Rajappa Nagar, Thanjavur.

2. On accepting notice, Mr.Thiyagarajan, learned Government Advocate sought some time to verity the receipt and status of the aforesaid representation. He confirms today, on instructions, that the said representation, dated 25.01.2017 is indeed pending. My attention is drawn to the subsequent communications, dated 15.04.2019 and 26.04.2019 exchanged between the parties.

3. It would thus suffice in the light of the limited prayer made in this writ petition and in in the interests of justice to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation within a period of six weeks from today after hearing the petitioner as well as any private party, who in the opinion of the second respondent may be necessary for proper adjudication of the matter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. This writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
