O R D E R

The Petitioner Mr.P.Alagarsamy, who served in the respondent Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation and retired from service on reaching the age of superannuation on 30.06.2015, has come to this Court seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his representation, dated, 20.06.2016, wherein he has made a prayer to pay salary for 26 days ie., from 21.02.2015 to 18.03.2015 during which time, he went on medical leave, due to his ill-health. Since the Medical Certificate enclosed for the said period, has not been considered and salary was not paid to the petitioner, he has come to this Court with this Writ Petition.

2. Mr.K.Sathiyasingh, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents.

3. Considering the limited prayer made in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner, dated 20.06.2016, the second respondent/General Manager, Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation, Chennai, is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
