Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS, calling for the records of the 1st Respondent in Rc.No.R1/4344/2011 dated 21-08-2012 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the Respondents to consider the Petitioner for appointment to the post of Police Constable Grade-II for the year 2012.

JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by T.RAJA, J.) This writ appeal has been directed against the order dated 12.09.2012 passed by the learned Single Judge in allowing a batch of writ petitions by setting aside the impugned order passed by the second respondent/appellant herein disqualifying some of the candidates on the ground of non possessing requisite height and chest measurement.

2. As against the similar order, when writ appeals were filed, this Court, by order dated 07.02.2018, dismissed the writ appeal in W.A(MD) No.191 of 2018 thereby confirming the order passed in the batch of writ petitions. Therefore, the present writ appeal filed against the order dated 12.09.2012, which has been confirmed in Writ Appeal No.191/2018 by order dated 07.02.2018, has become infructuous. Since it is brought to our notice that three similar writ appeals were dismissed by this Court against the order dated 12.09.2012, we are unable to entertain the present appeal also. Therefore, this writ appeal fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.
