Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to grant 30 days leave (parole) to the petitioner's husband namely Ravichandran (convict prisoner No 17104) son of Balu, aged about 49 years who is undergoing sentence as life convict in central prison, Trichy for his daughter's marriage.

ORDER:

This Petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the affidavit and material papers filed, and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C.SUSI KUMAR, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/s.B.BHAGAVATHI, Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondents, this Court made the following order:

This Petition has been filed to extend the time of the emergency leave. It is not maintainable, since the period given by this Court by an order dated 05.09.2018 is already over and the petitioner's husband has already surrendered before the second respondent on 16.09.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks for an extension of leave by citing a new reason.

3.The petitioner has to first give a fresh representation to the second respondent in that regard and the second respondent on such receipt of the said representation will consider the same in accordance with law.

4.Accordingly, this Petition is dismissed.
