Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents No.1 & 2 to disburse the monetary benefits including family pension, provident fund, death cum retirement benefits and consequent benefits pertaining to the service of the Petitioner s husband within the time stipulated by this Honble Court with 12% interest.

ORDER

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 16.02.2018 necessary proposals were sent by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ramanathapuram to the Accountant General A&E of Tamil Nadu. The proposals were submitted along with the necessary documents and in view of the fact that the respondent has sent a proposal for consideration of the Accountant General A&E of Tamil Nadu, no further adjudication is required, in respect of the contempt petition. However, it is left open to the writ petitioner to pursue with the proposal with the Accountant General A&E of Tamil Nadu.

2.In view of the above, this contempt petition stands closed.
