The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider his representation, dated 17.02.2017, wherein and whereby, he sought for survey of the land, situated at Sy.No.601/1 at Thothanoothur Revenue Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District, measuring to an extent of 82 3⁄4 cents and to issue patta for the same.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
3.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
4.Needless to say that it is for the revenue officials more particularly the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, after hearing the rival claimants, if any.
5.Therefore, this Court, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, only directs the third respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
