: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider Petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2017 and consequently to survey petitioner's land by fixing the boundary and to issue patta for petitioner's land situated in Thottanuthu, Revenue village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul Districtin survey No.601/1 to an extent of 82 3⁄4 cents. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider his representation, dated 17.02.2017, wherein and whereby, he sought for survey of the land, situated at Sy.No.601/1 at Thothanoothur Revenue Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District, measuring to an extent of 82 3⁄4 cents and to issue patta for the same.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

3.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4.Needless to say that it is for the revenue officials more particularly the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, after hearing the rival claimants, if any.

5.Therefore, this Court, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, only directs the third respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
