ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police not to harass the petitioners. 2.Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.It is seen that the respondent police filed the First Information Report against the petitioners in Crime No.83 of 2014. The First Information Report has been challenged before this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3462 of 2017 and this Court by an order dated 06.04.2017 has granted stay of further investigation. The same is in force till date.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in spite of there being an order of stay passed by this Court, the respondent police is continuously calling the petitioners for enquiry by sending message through phone and whatsapp. 5.When this Court has already granted stay of investigation and the same is in force till date, the respondent police is expected to obey the order of this Court and wait till the final disposal of Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3462 of 2017. Till the case is pending, there shall be a direction to the respondent police not to call the petitioners for any enquiry and harass the petitioners.

6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
