ORDER

This Writ Petition filed to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and to issue non traceable certificate to the petitioner in respect of the properties in Document No.1555/1982 dated 21.08.1982 and in Document No.5437/1998 dated 11.12.1998, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 17.12.2022, within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint through online before the second respondent for misplacing of his original sale deeds Document No.1555/1982 dated 21.08.1982 and another Document No.5437/1998 dated 11.12.1998, in respect of one property situated at Alanganallur Village in Patta No.871 in Survey No.65 and another property situated at Koodapak Village, Poonthamalli Taluk, Thiruvallur District in Survey No.276/4. He would further submit that the petitioner has also made 2/4

paper publication on 12.02.2023 with regard to the missing of original documents.

Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry ensuring the said documents have not been deposited for any purpose, following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, the petitioner can workout her remedy through appropriate proceedings, if not satisfied.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Pettiion stands disposed of. No costs.
