ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to give Compassionate appointment to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3. This is a strange writ petition filed by the petitioner seeking employment on compassionate ground for the reason that his father's land, was acquired vide G.O(Ms)No.188 of the Labour and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 28.12.1976. The said G.O also reveals that due compensation has also been given to the said land which was acquired. However wrongly interpreting clause 11 (M) of the said G.O, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. On that basis, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 11.07.2022, seeking compassionate appointment and since the same was not considered, this writ petition came to be filed.

5. There is no provision which contemplates appointment to be given on compassionate ground for acquisition of land by authorities that too for that acquired land, for which compensation has also been granted. Hence, this writ petitioner has no locus standi to file this writ petition.

6. In the result, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
