O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned First Information Report registered in Crime No.31 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 147, 341, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 pending on the file of the first respondent and quash the same against the petitioners.

2.The second respondent / defacto complainant as well as the petitioners/accused 1 to 6 are present before this Court through https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C rl.O.P.(MD)No.12972 of 2020 video conference and they are identified by their respective learned counsels and both the parties have filed a joint compromise memo stating that the matter in issue between them has been amicably resolved and therefore, the second respondent / defacto complainant is not willing to prosecute the case and therefore, would pray for quashing the F.I.R. in Crime No.31 of 2020.

3.The joint compromise memo is filed before this Court and the parties are also present personally along with their respective counsels and the learned Government Advocate would state that he has verified their identity.

4. In the result, by recording the compromise, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the F.I.R in Crime No.31 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police is quashed.
