ORDER

This Writ Petition has filed for issuing a direction to the respondents to reimburse a sum of Rs.66,501/- with 18% of interest from the date of application i.e., 27.04.2019 to the petitioner.

2. Mr.M. Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he has made a representation dated 10.06.2019 to the respondents 1 and 2, for reimbursement of medical expenses of Rs.66,501/-, taking treatment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of his mother viz., Muthurakku, but, so far, no order has been passed on the said representation. Hence, he has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if the application is received by the 2nd respondent and the same is in order, the same shall be forwarded to the District Level Committee to consider the request of the petitioner to sanction the reimbursement amount.

5. In the light of the aforesaid submission, the second respondent, who is competent to receive the application, is directed to receive the same if it is in order and the same shall be forwarded to the District Level Committee and if any such representation is received by them, they shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
