This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Kumbabishekam to Arulmigu Muthumariamman Thirukovil, Adhi Dravidar Colony, Naanamadai Village, Ilayankudi Taluk, Sivagangai District on 21.08.2016.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that there was a peace committee

meeting in connection with conducting of Kumbabishekam in the above said temple and on conclusion of the peace committee meeting, it has been decided to permit the petitioner to conduct Kumbabishekam on 21.08.2016.

5.In view of the above submission, the respondents are directed to pass orders in the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 27.07.2016, in the light of the decision made in the peace committee meeting.

6.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
