Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents herein to produce the detenue/the son of the petitioner, namely, Thalavai Madasamy, son of Esakkiappa, aged about 22 years, who is termed as 'Goonda' and who is now detained in the 4th respondent Prison before this Court and to call for the entire records relating to the impugned detention order in M.H.S.Confdl.No.102/2021 dated 30.07.2021 passed by the 2nd respondent and to set aside the same and consequently, to set the detenue at liberty.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5025, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 28.10.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
