This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam to precede the case in C.C.No.32 of 2020 within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent filed three false cases similar in nature against the petitioner and projected him as an habitual offender and history sheeter. The first respondent police regularly threatened the petitioner and they never take steps for complete or conduct the trial of all cases. Hence, the petitioner filed this present petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that in this case totally nine witnesses and the next hearing date is 05.12.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P(MD)No.12926 of 2020 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppuvanam, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.32 of 2020 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With this direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
