This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to disburse the compensation amount to the petitioner, which was acquired by the respondents in respect of S.Nos.855/7 and 900/1 in Mullivilai B Village, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanyakumari District and consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the properties of the brother of the petitioner were acquired by the respondents for laying four way lane between Nagercoil and Trivandrum route; that the respondents started to disburse the amount to the concerned persons; that the petitioner, after the death of his father, is looking after his brother, who is mentally an ill-person and the property is in the custody of the petitioner; the petitioner sent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

a representation dated 22.02.2016 to the respondents for disbursement of the amount to him so as to utilize the same for repayment of the hand loan borrowed for maintenance of the mentally ill-person and since no reply has been receive till date, the petitioner is before this Court with the relief stated supra.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the respondents are agreeable to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2016 and to pass orders on the same within a reasonable time frame.

5. Under such circumstances, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation dated 22.02.2016 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Petition is disposed of.
