accused in Crime No.165 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

2. This petition has been filed on the ground that on the date of alleged occurrence i.e., on 03.04.2023, they were Central Prison (for women), Puzhal, in Connection with Crime No.43 of 2023. It has also been verified by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and he has stated that the 1st petitioner herein was arrested by the Inspector of Police, D4 Zam Bazar Police Station, Chennai on 02.03.2023 and the second petitioner surrendered before the II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai on 14.03.2023 and ever since, they were in custody and the bail was granted only on 12.04.2023 and 13.04.2023 respectively.

3. In view of the same, the respondent police may interfere the matter by following the proper procedure

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
