Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to considerthe petitioner's reply dated 26.09.2016 and direct the respondent to refer the matter to sole arbitrator as per clause 19 of Dispensing Pump and Selling License dated 01.07.2016. ORDER

The petitioner is the partnership firm. Earlier a license was granted to the petitioner firm for purchase and sale of petroleum products by the respondent. Thereafter, a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner by the respondent for cancelling the license on 15.09.2016, based on the complaint given by one Jegareevanram, and the petitioner has also submitted reply on 26.09.2016. But, so far no order has been passed by the respondent. In the above circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to pass orders on the show cause notice.

2.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the matter is pending with the respondent and till date the respondent is supplying the petroleum products to the petitioner.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's reply to the show cause notice, conduct an enquiry and pass suitable orders after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
