The present Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Sub Court, Melur to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P.No.96 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 1/4
2.Since no adverse orders are going to be passed as against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. 3.The petitioner is the respondent in H.M.O.P.No.96 of 2023 filed by the respondent as against the petitioner herein seeking a decree of divorce. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the divorce petition is pending for the past two years without any progress. Hence, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the suit. 5.Considering the limited request of the petitioner, this Court directs the trial Court to dispose of the divorce petition in H.M.O.P.No.96 of 2023 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
