ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 19.02.2026 praying for permission to lay the remaining HT electricity transmission lines and to fix appropriate compensation to the land owners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the respondents 3 to 6. By consent of both sides, the writ petition 3/6

itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. Seeking permission for laying HT electricity transmission lines and to fix appropriate compensation to the land owners, the petitioner has sent representation to the 1st respondent. However, since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Considering the limited prayer that has been sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2026, after issuing notice to the private respondents 7 to 10 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
