ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(a) and 4(1-A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Cr.No.419 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal 1/3
possession of 12 bottles of liquor bottle containing 180 ml liquor. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.
4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) for the respondent submits that the petitioner is having 11 previous cases to his credit. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
