O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking direction to Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppauvanam to expedite the trial in C.C.No.73 of 2021 and to dispose of the same within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.It is seen that the case in Crime No.219 of 2019 was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506 (ii) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamilnadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003. The grievance of the petitioner is that the case has been registered in the year 2019 and final report has also been filed in C.C.No.73 of 2021. Now the petitioner is aged 70 years and therefore, he seeks direction for expeditious trial. 3.Considering the facts that the petitioner is aged 70 years and initially the case has been registered in the year 2019, there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppuvanam to expedite the trial in C.C.No.73 of 2021 and dispose of the same within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a coy of this order. After disposing the case, a compliance report shall be sent to the Registry.
