Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents No.4 and 5 to accord adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner's family members and the petitioner by considering his representation dated 09.07.2016 within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court. The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents No.4 and 5 to accord adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner's family members and the petitioner by considering his representation dated 09.07.2016. 2..Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that seeking police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members, a representation has been sent to the respondents. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that already protection has been given to the petitioner and his family members.

5. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
