This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 06.04.2022 under the Criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Honble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that on 06.04.2022, the petitioner gave a complaint against the third respondent and the petition enquiry is pending before the second respondent Police.
4.Recording the same, the third respondent police is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 06.04.2022 and 2/4
conduct enquiry in the matter and take suitable action on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
