ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachment made by the sixth respondent in Highways porampokku situated in S.F.No.175/1, near A.K.Nagar bus stop of Ayakkudi Village on K.M. 0/2 of Ayakkudi - Kanniyakudi - Devimangalam Highways road on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2021 within a time frame.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given a representation as early as on 28.04.2021, the respondents 2 and 5 have not passed any order so far.
3.Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that there are 21 encroachers in the land in S.F.No.175/1 and that the respondents 2 and 5 are taking steps to remove the encroachments by following due process of law.
4.Mr.S.Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader may be recorded and the Writ Petition may be closed. 5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, recording the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader to the effect that the respondents 2 and 5 are taking steps to remove the encroachment made in S.F.No.175/1, the Writ Petition stands closed.
