This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event viz., Aadal Paadal Programme scheduled to be held on 21.07.2019 at night in connection with Adai Festival of Arulmighu Mariyamman Thirukovil, Ma.Kannanur Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 16.07.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adala Padal Programme on 21.07.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 16.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without

going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
