The petitioner has filed this petition that the respondent police is harassing him.

2.Today(12.06.2025), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for admission, Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and submits that based on the complaint given by the third respondent/the wife of the petitioner, the second respondent has issued a summon, however, without appearing before the respondent police, the petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition. In fact, they are not harassing this petitioner and since it is a matrimonial dispute, the respondent police has referred the matter to the Social Welfare Officer. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the Social Welfare Officer to conduct the enquiry and to file a report before the respondent police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall not be harassed or arrested till such time. The 2/4

respondent police is directed to take a call on the complaint based on the report of the Social Welfare Officer.
