The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection while the 4th respondent measuring petitioner land situated at Thethur Village in Survey No.217/9A, 217/10, 217/11, 217/12, 217/8 to an extent of 0.22.0 Acres ie., 531⁄2 cents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2016.
2.Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in possession of the land in S.Nos.217/9A, 217/10, 217/11, 217/12, 217/8 to an extent of 0.22.0 Acres, measuring 531⁄2 cents. While so, to find out the boundaries, the petitioner wants to measure his property. However, when the 4th respondent was trying to measure the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
property, the adjacent land owners restrained the 4th respondent from discharging his duties. Therefore, the petitioner seeks police protection to measure his property and sent a representation to the respondents 1 to
3. However, the said representation has not been considered so far and therefore, he is before this Court with this petition. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation received by the respondents would be considered and the petitioner is expected to render cooperation in furnishing the details of the property.
6. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner undertakes to furnish the details sought for by the respondents.
7. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously, as possible. No costs.
