Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent police not to harass the petitioners.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the first petitioner is the mother of the petitioners 2 and 3 and she has another son by name Shajin. The first petitioner came to know that a crime has been registered against her son, Shajin for the offence under Section 366 I.P.C. Based on that complaint, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3.Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the said Shajin had love affair with one girl and she eloped with the said Shajin. Hence, based on the kidnapping complaint, the F.I.R has been registered against the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's son. The second respondent police is investigating the case and he enquired the petitioners regarding whereabouts of the said Shajin. He would further submit that the respondent police is not harassing the petitioners.

4.Considering the fact that the investigation is pending, petitioners are directed to co-operate with the enquiry. The second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioners during investigation.
