The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned notification in TNSET-2017 with regards to Column No.XII issued by the respondent / University and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to issue question paper both in English and Tamil as per the notification in TNSET - 2016 by considering the representation dated 17.02.2017.

2.This Court by order dated 06.03.2017 sent notice to the respondents. Today Mr.B.Pugalendhi, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents / University submitted that the relief sought for in this Writ petition has been granted by the respondent / University vide proceedings dated 14.03.2017. He produced a copy for the same.

3.As per the proceedings dated 14.03.2017 passed by the respondents / University, TNSET-2017 exams will be offered in both Tamil and English medium. In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.Ps.are closed.
