PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to give permission to the petitioner to organize music and dance programme (Adal Padal and Kalal Vizha) on 18.05.2026 at Arulmigu Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Angarai Village, Ilayankudi Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District with sound and light and security arrangements by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2026. ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to organize music and dance programme (Adal Padal and Kalal Vizha) on 18.05.2026 at Arulmigu Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Angarai Village, Ilayankudi Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District with sound and light and security arrangements by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2026. 2.Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the official respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner has been considered and permission as sought by the petitioner, has been granted vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 05/2026. He has also produced a copy of the said proceedings before this Court and the same is placed on record.
