The petitioner has come to this Court, seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass an order of transfer and posting the petitioner as PG Assistant in Government Higher Secondary School, based on the General Transfer Counselling to be conducted on 20.08.2016.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, for two reasons. Firstly, the General Transfer Counselling has already been conducted on 20.08.2016, therefore, now the petitioner's request for transfer cannot be considered. Secondly, an order has already been passed, rejecting the request of the petitioner to post her in School Education Department.

3. Recording the said submission, writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(AS) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
